Please share your testimony with us.
Dear Mr. Barber,
On Sunday, March 16, 2008 you spoke before us here at CTF-Central in Soledad, California. I want to share my good news of what happened as a result of that service and your time spent with us.
My cellmate, John, and I have been watching together over the institutional channel the New Testament called the Watchword Bible. Because of that experience, John understood precisely what you shared from God's Word AND related to you as real in your words as well. The impact was great..... in that service John personally accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior!! If you know John, this is a miracle. He was not one to be pushed to such a decision.
That day was my own earthly birthday. What a present! I wanted to share with you the fact that your time, effort and expense of coming to visit us was truly well worth it. In short, thank-you for aiding in the saving of John. I can't thank you enough. May God continue to bless your ministry and ministry team.
Your brother in His Grip,
Michael Kurtz
Mike, God used your program last week to bring me back to the place He had in my life. I served God for 4 years in prison and walked away after 2 years of freedom. (Long story short) The testimonies reminded me of the Peace God gave me when I was inside. I am so blessed that He still loves me. He was right here all along I abandoned Him and my Christian family. I thought making money was my peace. Thank you for being obedient to God and His word. I truly can have that same peace again. I missed it, Jesus and my Christian family. Praise God I'm back. My church family was so glad to see me last Sunday. And I've taken some time off work to spend studying God's Word and regaining my fellowship. My Wife also wants to thank you she left with me. We used Time and circumstances as our excuse. But if I hadn't watched your program my circumstances could have led me back to doing time.
Praise God for you and your ministry.

Mike, my son Brian is now 26 years old. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison when he was 18. I contacted TBN and asked them to send him something in prison. They referred me to you. I contacted you, and your ministry sent him Bible studies and corresponded with him. Brian served almost 3 years in prison for felony. Now he is President of a Christian Car Club with 200 members in several states and 9 chapters. A secular film company happened to see his car club at a car show. They had never heard of a Christian Car Club and they taped his testimony. They put it in a movie titled "R-Generation" that is in Blockbusters. I just wanted you to see the fruit of your ministry.

Just today I was able to share just how much you mean to me. As the chaplain asked me, 'Fran, what one thing would you say has helped you the most with your walk while being here for the past 16 years?' I didn't even have to think about it. I opened my mouth and said, 'Mike Barber Ministries!' Early spring 1984, I was on suicide watch at the Valley Unit. That's when I met Mike. Through his testimony, he and DeAnne's, I was brought back to life. Without prison ministry coming in to share Jesus with me... I'm sure I wouldn't be here today. I'm sure of that.

Serving the Lord in prison ministry has always blessed me, and usually the blessing flows from an inmate. Recently I had an inmate in Administrative Segregation pray over me, and his prayer was one I'll never forget. He said, 'Lord, thank you for sending this angel my way, and Lord he will never know the light that he has brought into this dark place.'
- Grady (counselor)
I'd like to thank you for allowing the Lord to use you. The satellite broadcast that I saw last night was the live taping at Darrington. Nuwine and Brother George are such an effective tag team. Thank you all for your obedience to the Holy Spirit. Your ministry is always in Cotulla and my prayers.
- Vincent (Texas inmate)
I'm writing to thank you for a job well done. Ever since you and your ministry visited the Holliday Unit back in February, I have been reading the Bible and praying more than I have done all my life. Thank you. Thank you. And may God bless you all.

On behalf of the inmates here at the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing, Oklahoma, I want to thank you for the satellite feed from the Darrington Unit in Texas. The program was a success and the men here really enjoyed it. Thank you once again for the satellite dish. It really does add dimension to the church's ministry here.
- Chaplain Scott Haynes
I have just left your satellite broadcast into the Sycamore Unit at Gatesville. Praise the Lord for people that God has called to deliver His message to us who are starved for the Word. Several of us stood and rededicated ourselves to God tonight. I will remember you all in my prayers, as I hope you will me, that I become a doer and not a watcher or listener. May the Spirit show me soon the place I am needed and point me in the right direction.
